I am unable to download Hyperate from Ko-fi, whenever I try I just get "Bad Request". I have tried both Firefox and Chrome on both my PC and phone. The Android version worked for a few hours and now no longer sees my device so I wanted to try desktop.

I will investigate, why its not downloading (for me as well), what is the other Problem with your Anfroid?

Hey desktop download is fixed! Im unsure what happened with the android version. I have the Polar Verity Sense monitor and their app can see it and track heart rate and Hyperate worked perfectly the first time I set it up, but now whenever I try to Search for Device it isn't showing anymore

just make sure that the BT Device is not connected already with your Phone.

Unfortunately it isn't. I've also tried restarting both the apps and the phone itself, and forgetting device and finding it again in Polar and still nothing. Haven't tried reinstalling either Polar or Hyperate yet though

Community Member1/25/2025, 12:28:11 PM
Through android correct?
Community Member1/25/2025, 12:28:32 PM
Just open the Page on your Desktop and try to connect to your Polar Device
Community Member1/25/2025, 12:34:37 PM
Ok yes, the web interface can see it
Community Member1/25/2025, 12:34:50 PM
hmmm
Community Member1/25/2025, 12:36:06 PM
Huh, I removed the device from the web interface and now the app can see it again
Community Member1/25/2025, 12:36:20 PM
I am really confused by that
Community Member1/25/2025, 12:36:52 PM
yeah sometimes BT is a bit wired, normally when you directly connect any BT device with your phone directly, you can not find it with 3rd party apps.
Community Member1/25/2025, 12:37:28 PM
it seems like the polar saved any last connection, so 😉
Community Member1/25/2025, 12:39:35 PM
Trying to see if I can reproduce whatever I did to make it stop working
Community Member1/25/2025, 12:40:28 PM
just remember when you too far away from the paired phone with your Polar, you have to connect again.
Community Member1/25/2025, 12:43:28 PM
Interesting, looks like its entirely user error and I have no idea why it worked when it did the first time
Community Member1/25/2025, 12:44:04 PM
what you mean by " entirely user error" ?
Community Member1/25/2025, 12:45:43 PM
Connecting to it with the Polar Flow app seems to override what connections the Polar can make so when connected to its own app Hyperate can't see it. Just connecting to it purely from Hyperate works every time. I have no idea how or why it worked the first time I tried it because I was getting data in both apps at the same time

But hey, its working everywhere so thats fine by me!
