I purchased a custom ID for my Hyperate, and the transaction went through successfully, allowing me to set a custom ID without any issues.
Then, I accidentally pressed the "create a random ID for free" button, and my ID reverted to a random one. Can't my previous purchase be restored? I tried pressing the "give it personality" button again and paid a second time (wow!), but the custom ID couldn't be set.
Why couldn't my previous purchase be restored? Why did I have to pay twice?
