hi
Community Member•7/9/2025, 11:03:31 AM
As far as I know, the Redmi Watch 5 Active does not support any apps, can you check that?
Community Member•7/9/2025, 11:04:11 AM
Nope there is Mi Fitness or Zepp Life as i know

These are the XIAOMI Apps, but i learned that you can not install any 3rd party Apps on that device, can you double check this.

As far as I understand, you work with Mi Band 3-7 devices whch is XIAOMI too. I realize this is in experimental mode, but they seem to be compatible with those apps as well. Or do you extract data directly from the device, not through the app?

So whats your question then?
Community Member•7/9/2025, 11:13:15 AM
If your Watch can "act" like a MiBand, you could find it in the HypeRate Mobile App?!

My device isn’t listed — likely because it’s under the Redmi brand, not Xiaomi, even though they’re part of the same company. Are there really no options at all? My main question is: Is there any chance that HyperOS devices will be supported on your platform in the future?

Unfortunately, if your Redmi Watch 5 doesn’t allow direct BLE access and doesn't support third-party app installation, we can’t integrate with it right now.
We’re happy to keep an eye on any developments, but as it stands, the device is too closed off for us to support.
