Heya! I just tried to send you a dm though it looks like you'll have to add me first. Just had a question regarding your friend's installed app on their watch. I'd love to know if they'd be happy to extract the APK from their watch, it's a pretty easy process and it would solve everyone's issues because then everyone can just sideload it no matter what version they're on! Lo and behold the one I managed to sideload works flawlessly. I see no reason why it doesn't come up for 95% of wearOS watches on the store but there is zero incompatibility.

Its exactly the topic we are facing atm, as soon as we put it on the Store it cant be downloaded at all or only sometimes. We will focus on the WearOS App starting next year, it's one of our top prios for the next 2 weeks to get this finally working for *hopefully all wearOS Devices 😉

Would it be worth also hosting on f-droid, aptoide, apkpure, apkmirror etc? I had to traverse an intense labyrinth of dodgy apk sites until I found a legit one. I almost felt like it was being intentionally hidden 😅

And even that was difficult af as you essentially need a wearOS spoofer to download wearOS store apps when scraping

I didn't wanna hand out the apk I got in case I was going against something I shouldn't. But if you're happy in the meantime, I'd be glad to pm some of the guys mentioning they can't get on and share the one I have. I have the older one though.

You can share the APK if you want . it's still not our official APP but worked flawlessly the last few years.

not really - the only big difference is that the display is dimming automatically and we are avoiding the App more strict to not go in the background modus.

In that case <@375325883780562956> we'll need to figure out which one you can get you're hands on. There are two. One is listed in the store at "HypeRate for Wear OS", this is the older one. The newer one is listed as "HypeRate Watch"

If the apk you rip from the watch is called something like de.locxserv.hyperatewearos or with the version 1.5, that is the older one

Let me know when you can and we'll start sharing the better of the two

I'm the friend with the Pixel Watch 3 and the apks, <@375325883780562956> came to my home and I sideloaded him my apks into his Pixel Watch 4, and it just worked. Here are the files, and just sideload it with `adb install-multiple` (and then drag and drop each apk individually, and adding a space between each apk).

Cool tool. I just sent it to my watch with AnExplorer (file browser for wear os) and installed directly there

well it works thats the most relevant thing now we just have to wait that the Store App getting a update to support WearOS 6 since it works.

From tinkering with android studio trying to get this downloaded, I don't think it's just as simple as flipping a switch for wear os 6. It wouldn't show up for any previous wear os version I emulated. What shows up on the store seems to also be linked to what sensors the device (watch) has and that somehow seems borked also with this app listing.

Regardless if anyone has the newer app with the screen dimming feature, that would be a massive help
