Hey, I got the heart rate showing up on the HypeRate app, but the webpage wasn't working...

Update: This is unrelated to my home Wi-Fi, once I turned my iPhone off, everything back to work regardless which Wi-Fi I am using :/

So two ways I got it working: 1. Disconnect from my iPhone by turning off Bluetooth, then connect to iPhone's Hotspot. 2. Just turn off your phone. I don't know what is causing the issue but seems something to do with the phone.

Are you located in China or use a VPN on computer? Then this could be the issue (in China it would be the great firewall)

Idk what’s wrong with my phone, but soon after I disconnected it (either by powering it off, or turning on airplane mode), the app backs to work

I just downloaded the apple watch and iPhone apps and the apple watch is not giving me a heart rate at all and notihing is showing up when I clik on search for device on my phone

Hey there, the Apple Watch app will work without the iPhone app, they are seperate apps 🙂 have you given all the permissions to you Apple Watch app? You can check in the health app on your iPhone , and if not all permissions were given please do so 🙂

You can not connect your watch with the phone - just start the session on your watch and you are good to go - as mentioned above - the iPhone app is only for BT chestbelts and wristbands

Weird is, that it shows your actual heartbeat on the watch - but it doesnt like to push that small info to our servers 🤔

I think this happened after I updated to watchOS 10.1, before that I was able to use it

I’m having an issue where the iOS app isn’t showing my Apple Watch as a connection. But if I manually type in the address it’s connected to the browser, but still nothing shows up on the app.

The Apple Watch app and the iOS app are two separate devices. You can’t connect the watch to the phone. So you only need the Apple Watch - press start and use the given ID.

Both apps are standalone - you can not connect the watch app with your phone.

Hey there. I’ve got an Apple Watch and am trying to setup the overlay to OBS… when I put the link into obs the heart comes up with a 0 next to it but if I go to the link I plugged into OBS the tracker is displaying just fine with the number updating, any suggestions?

OBS overlay is just not changing from displaying a 0 next to the heart even though the link is working, heart is animating as well…

Hey there, I don’t understand the issue yet. Where does the link work, and where doesn’t it work? One idea: Your ID is case sensitive, please make sure that it is typed correctly 🙂

The link works from my watch to a browser and displays on a browser but when plugged into OBS the OBS overlay shows the hear animating but is just showing a 0 as if there’s not a signal

Hi I have a problem too, i use Hyperrate on my Apple Watch Series 4 at the watch the app measures the heart rate but I don’t get a heart rate at OBS or browser already tried everything from _connlost

I'm having slightly similar issues to some users above. just re installed the app on my apple watch and it fixed the now showing heart rate for the default link

but the issue is now the freebie animation link with my new session ID is not showing the heart rate

I read through this whole thread and tried many options listed here to get the heartbeat to show on the apple watch (Series 8) yet nothing changed. Is there anything else I could be doing wrong?

Did you check (on your phone) -> Settings -> Health -> Data&Devices - HypeRate- if all Apple health settings are on green? Maybe also disable and enable again.

Hello! Please forgive me if this is the wrong place to request for assistance. Thank you for this great application! I been having issues on my Apple Watch Series 7 (latest update watchOS 10.5). Similar to some of the problems people had on the thread, I am unable to see my heart rate on the Hyperrate side (so the website). I been using Hyperrate with no issues in the past week and suddenly I am unable to see it anymore [there were no watchOS updates during the time it worked and didn't anymore]. I live in the US (East Coast). I've tried all of the following [I also know the phone is separate from the Watch but I also reset the phone to be safe] : - Confirming the correct Session ID (case sensitive, albeit I only have one letter in my Session ID) - Turning off bluetooth/wifi for both my watch and phone - Restarting both my watch and phone - Confirming and reselecting all the options on the Health Settings screen - Reinstalling the app on the watch and phone My session ID is 2D82 If I could get some assistance, I would greatly appreciate it. Hello, I'm having issues with getting my heartrate to show via my link. It's working on my phone + watch, however my watch doesn't seem to be showing a session ID, wondering If that could be why? I think I had this issue before and was included in the TestFlight Beta which solved it, however I'm back to having it and apparently the beta I was in, expired.

The best would be to completly deinstall the App from your Phone, which will automatically deinstall the App from the Watch. I've only just done a fresh install, It was completely removed beforehand but I shall give it a try either way ^^.

Ironically, the app crashed, started it back up and It works.

It does have bluetooth connected to my phone and it only uses internet when it's required.
