i have miband 8 and my friend has 5, we both tried connecting and it doesnt find/detect the band

Heya! Did you tried it with iOS / Android? MiBand in general is not supported on Android. And for iOS MiBand 8 is not supported due to their Hardware limitations. MiBand 5 would work if you open the Zepp Life App, connect the device and then search for it in the app :)

i just returned the mi band 8 and got 6 so that i can use zepp life app

the app is working right now but it still doesnt finnd device when i go to hyperate

I just fixed it, try using zepplife app and enable these two
