Ok, I installed the Garmin Connect HypeRate app and it gave me an address but it isn’t connecting.

Just in case anyone has a similar issue, the problem was the Garmin connect app was not open on my iPhone. Once that was open and I had the hyper rate Garmin app installed on my watch everything worked great.
