When I save and do everything for the stream deck, and then I go to click the button and it errors

ok sorry for the delay, I tested it and It is connecting for me after I enter a ID and hit save. When you press save and click off the button and back again is the ID saved? If it is saved and still get the error I can join a call with you as I will be able to show you how to see the logs to see what could be happening.

sorry was cooking food, Ok so you will need to if on windows open regedit and go to this location ``@HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Elgato Systems GmbH\StreamDeck``

will see a bunch of things like this

you will then right click and do dword

this is only if you don't see this in the list already

if you did add it you will click it twice and add a vaule of ``1``

ok mac I think you need to run this in terminal ```defaults write com.elgato.StreamDeck html_remote_debugging_enabled -bool YES```

once done restart the app and then try and open this page http://localhost:23654/

I will add in the next update just working on the last 2% and waiting on elgato to come back to me logging of info will just be a txt file so no need for all this. I will also be doing more testing on macs as I do have one now.

as you can see mine will save on the one page. it will say connected on the other and well I closed the connection so the red at the end so showing it work how it should have.

if you get an error on key down. it will tell me the error your getting

Dont know what it could have been but maybe just the restart of the app did it. Did see that closing the window will not reboot the app so killed in process manager to reboot it to get debug to work

As I do have a mac now all testing will be done on both but as code is just JS (one you have now it should all work as same as windows) but will make sure works on all even linux users
