Hey! Thanks for the detailed report ❤️ Sounds like there might be two separate issues here. For the OBS plugin: if the same HypeRate ID works fine with one of our web widgets but the OBS plugin stays on “Connecting”, could you let me know which OS and OBS version you’re using? A screenshot of the HypeRate source/settings while it’s stuck on “Connecting” would also be really helpful. Regarding the $0.99 Personal ID: when you say it “doesn’t seem to stick”, what exactly happens after you purchase/set the ID? Does it initially show your chosen ID and then change back to a random one, or does the purchase/setup not complete at all? We’ll figure it out! ❤️

Ok for the shame change, I changed it to my ttv name and hit save but it’s still only showing the number code and the 99¢ option is still there. And I just went back into obs and the other things is now connected and working.

The hype clips is a paid thing though, right? The options are greyed out.

Thanks, that helps! I also checked our database and I can’t see Sir_Hooks_a_lot there, so it looks like the ID change was never actually completed. Just to narrow this down: when you enter Sir_Hooks_a_lot and tap Save, do you get the Apple purchase popup asking you to confirm the $0.99 purchase? And if so, does Apple show the purchase as successful afterwards?

aslo, bouncing back to the OBS stuff. I have the numarical BPS on screen, I was applying the filter to a graphic and even in test mode, nothing seems to be moving

Ah, that screenshot explains the Custom ID issue. Both Custom ID purchases are currently showing as Pending on Apple’s side, so the purchases haven’t actually been completed yet. That’s also why I can’t see Sir_Hooks_a_lot in our database. Unfortunately, the pending status is on Apple’s side and isn’t something we can control from HypeRate. As soon as Apple completes the purchase, the Custom ID change should be processed normally. For the heartbeat effect in OBS, first make sure to enable Test Mode. Once enabled, you’ll get a Test BPM slider that lets you simulate a heart rate and immediately see what the effect looks like. I’d also recommend changing Intensity from “Normal” to Custom. This gives you additional sliders to play with, so you can increase the effect until the movement is clearly visible with your graphic. Try Test Mode together with the Custom intensity settings and play around with the values a little. You should be able to get a pretty obvious effect that way. ❤️ And thanks for all the screenshots, they really help!

I've adjusted the sliders and nothing until I restarted obs. When I loaded it back up it was beating in test mode but the BPM display was - - . I looked at the hyperate heart rate input and it said I was disconnected. So I connected and the BPM started showing, but the heart stopped beating

I had to go into hyperate heart rate input and reconnect. It did but the heart stopped pulsing. It was only pulsing before in test mode and now in test mode it still won't go

also I'm on the newest obs release 32.2.2. (64 bit)

ok I can get it to beat in test mode if I am not connected in the hyperrate heart rate input. once i connect, it will no longer beat in test or live

Interesting! Could you also check your Start BPM setting in the Heartbeat filter? Make sure it’s set below your current heart rate. For example, try setting Start BPM to 40 and Full Intensity at BPM to 80 for testing. Then connect the HypeRate Heart Rate Input again and see if the heartbeat starts working. Since Test Mode works when the Heart Rate Input isn’t connected, we’re getting closer to narrowing this down. 🙂

Yeah it had the base as 100 by default so dropped it to 40

And thanks again. I’ll see if my heart actually gets up there often enough to try ttv auto twitch clips

there it goes. The heart in the middle of the grey tile beats and the BPMs stay active. This should work. appreciate ya!
