Hello, using a Fitbit Versa 3 along with the Desktop App. I was able to get the App downloaded onto the Fitbit Versa, and when the app is open, and the Fitbit is "awake", it shows my BPM on the Fitbit and the Desktop App without any issue.
The problem is battery life. It seems that while the HypeRate app is open, the Fitbit never "sleeps" and constantly displays the BPM. When I manually sleep the Fitbit, by pressing the side button, the Desktop App immediately stops working.
Is there something I need to configure or something I'm doing wrong here? Help! Thanks, looking forward to using this!!
Hi there, unfortunately it is the current behaviour of the App - if we put it programmatically into the background it will stop the heart measurement 😭

Heya <@169593513917415425>!
I can confirm that this is an issue with the Fitbit SDK - they dont allow reading the heart rate when the app is not active. Maybe they fix this one day - but for now it's an issue every Developer needs to face :(
